Ellis Nature Centre 

Located in Lacombe County, and recently renamed from Ellis Bird Farm to Ellis Nature Centre. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of Mountain Bluebirds, Tree Swallows and other native cavity-nesting birds.

Conservation education is also a big part of our offering, with a nature book repository, a Visitor Centre with nature-based exhibits, demonstration Naturescape gardens and educational programs for all ages on a variety of nature-based topics.

Drop-in visitors and tour groups are welcome at during the summer months, when we are open to the public. Enjoy the beautiful gardens, see the world’s largest outdoor collection of bluebird nest boxes, take a tour to our bluebird trail, do a self-guided tour of the site and visit the Visitor Centre.
